The Friends of Johnson County Library accepts community book donations. You can host a book drive and earn 10 service hours. Here is how to get started:

1. Determine where you are going to host your book drive. It could be in your neighborhood, at your school, service organization, business, church, etc.

2. Here is the list of the items the Friends of Johnson County Library can and can''t accept.

3. Create a flyer to promote your book drive. You can share it on social media, deliver it to your neighbors, or share it at a physical location you''ll be collecting the books.

4. Collect the books.

5. Bring your items to the Friends of Johnson County Library''s sorting facility (8279 Melrose Drive, Lenexa, KS in the Pine Ridge Business Complex) on Saturday mornings between 9-11AM.
