Are you passionate about languages? Do you enjoy learning about other cultures? If so, you might be a perfect match to volunteer with our English Language Learners Conversation Classes.

Volunteers 18+ are needed to help facilitate in person Beginner or Intermediate English Language Learner conversation classes. The purpose is to help people whose first language is not English practice their English conversation skills.

The classes will be on Saturday mornings from 9:30-11:30AM from mid-March through mid-May. The volunteers will shadow ELL Volunteer Facilitators. Then, the volunteer will be given a chance to facilitate some classes. Once trained, volunteers will be paired to co-teach in-person classes.

Fluency in English, comfortability with public speaking, and computer skills are required. Volunteers must commit to an entire spring trimester (four months) of classes. Each volunteer facilitator will receive a picture dictionary.
