Volunteers are needed to facilitate classes for English Language Learners. The purpose is to help people with limited English proficiency learn how to speak and practice conversation.

Classes are from 9:30 11:30 am on Saturdays, October 4th December 6th at the Central Resource Library.

Fluency in English and comfort with public speaking; creating and adapting lesson plans; and coaching people with low English Proficiency required.

Volunteers must commit to a regular schedule with advanced notice of planned absences. Volunteers must complete an orientation and training program before classes begin. Each volunteer will receive an Oxford Picture Dictionary and have access to lesson plans and other curriculum support.
