Summer teen volunteers are essential to helping the Library during the busiest part of our year. Job duties vary from day to day but will include:
* Straightening shelves
* Sorting and shelving library materials
*Maintaining the library's youth floor
* Keep book displays tidy and eye-catching
* Helping children and families select Summer Reading books
* Counting attendance and passing out materials at Library events

Volunteers can expect to earn 16-24 hours spaced over the course of the summer, approximately 2-3 hours a week. If you would like more volunteer hours please check out our other opportunities like Teen Book Reviewer, Donation Drop Off and Young Adult Literary Council.

Please Note: Volunteers must be 13 years old before June 1. Submission of an application is not a guarantee of a position. Applications must be submitted by the volunteer. Please only apply for one library branch summer teen volunteer opportunity. This will allow more teens to be able to participate in volunteering.
