Friends Book Donation Drop-off

Friends of Johnson County Library supports library programs and services through the sale of books donated by the community.

Volunteers are needed to help accept book donations at the Friends of Johnson County Library Sort Center (8279 Melrose Dr., Overland Park, KS). Volunteers must be able to lift boxes up to 40 lbs. on/off dolly carts, stand for long periods of time, and be comfortable going outside to assist with donation drop offs. Closed toed shoes and comfortable clothing are strongly encouraged. Volunteers ages 14-17 are welcome but please get your parents permission before registering.

The Friends of Johnson County Library Sort Center is located in the Pine Ridge Business Park just east of I-35/Hwy 69 off 87th Street in Overland Park.
