In 1956, a dedicated group of community members started Johnson County Library by running libraries out of their homes, schools, and businesses. Today, the Friends Johnson County Library continues to support the Library through volunteer and financial support. We are seeking volunteers to serve on the Membership Committee which recruits new members for the Friends organization, designs membership appreciation efforts and provides opportunities to enhance support to Johnson County Library.

If you're social and outgoing, and have an understanding of building membership organizations, we'd love to talk with you! This committee conducts monthly virtual meetings and occasionally has other projects that may require additional time.
